# Is it possible to "join" an existing WordPress post with an existing Discourse topic

I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for, but [this WordPress plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/plugin-for-embedding-discourse-topics-in-wordpress-pages-or-posts/30228) lets the user add a shortcode to a WordPress post to embed a Discourse topic into the post.
