# האם אפשר למנוע מ-Google לאנדקס נושאים שלא ברשימה?

It is strange that when a topic is unlisted, it is still indexed by Google. I think the logic is really weird. Is it possible to prevent unlisted topics from being indexed by Google?

I just realized that after i know the correct English word is “unlisted” i can find some existing answers in this forum. It seems unlisted topics are indeed not supposed to be indexed by Google, but sometimes Google has already indexed them before they are unlisted. We have to wait until Google removes them.

This topic can be closed now.

Unlisted topics are just hidden ‘lightly’ away from the eyes of users. Although there are ways to find them, they are not intended to be ‘secure’ etc

You can request a URL to be removed in the Search Console if you need this change to happen faster.
