# Is it possible to restrict certain “docs” to appear based on the user’s groups?

Is it possible to restrict certain “docs” to appear based on the user’s groups?
**Use case:** In our private Discourse, many users belong to committees or working group. They need to have access to specific documents, but due to sensitive information, they not be available to everyone.

Thanks, I will explore that. We already have groups accessing specific categories. I thought “docs” were all in one category together, but I’m not seeing we can grab them from multiple categories using tags, for example. Cool!

It should be possible in the plugins settings
