# האם "ראה נושא חדש או מעודכן" אמור לעדכן את פרטי הנושא הקיימים?

The topic’s reply count and posters don’t update as I expected. Is this a #Contribute > Bug? What should change in the topic list if anything?

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by highlighter effect, but I noticed some time ago that information for pinned topics is not updated

Thanks for the clue. I had the **Topic List Excerpts** theme component enabled which basically treats _every_ topic as pinned. When I disabled it the topics updated as I expected. So pretty sure its due to the same bug you reported.
