# Is there a generic profile URL

I was looking around and found one user who on an external site had a “new user checklist” that tried a sentence like “Click here and edit your profile” and made that link to the user profile. That would require a generic link to the userprofile, but it isn’t something like [myforum.com/myprofile](http://myforum.com/myprofile) or /me or anything, so my question is, could there be a generic URL that will always link to one’s profile?
