# 是否有一种方法可以为子类别添加描述并在主页上显示？

我们能否为子分类添加描述，并在首页显示它们？

目前为止，我所见过的所有 Discourse 论坛都将子分类显示为带彩色圆点的简单超链接。我非常希望将子分类单独显示在一行中，并附带其描述。

我的灵感来自以下论坛。

访问 p2w.gg 并查看主页。每个类别旁边的“一般讨论”文本可以通过编辑该类别中的置顶“关于”主题帖，扩展为更详细的描述。

不过，我希望子类别的描述也能显示在首页上。

我可以修改首页模板，添加一些假标题来代表我的类别吗？不过我不确定这样做是否会影响实际类别列表的显示。

关于在您这种情况下关闭这些描述，您能否将 `.category-description` 的 CSS 修改为 `display: none`？

鉴于 Discourse 支持主题定制，他们应该提供修改 CSS 的选项。
