Is there a way to open a post in the edit mode via a link, instead of first opening the post and then clicking on “Edit” ?

I don’t think there is either, not out of box. Out of curiosity, what do you see as use case for that?

We create/edit a post (via API or manually) with links to specific posts, as part of a TODO list for a recurrent project. Said posts have content that needs to be updated often. It would save us time if the links took us straight to edit … and even nicer if the edit pane opened without navigating to…

I don’t think there is (someone feel free to correct me). There’s Creating a link to start a new topic with pre-filled information of course, but it’s not quite the same.
