# 注册时能否让用户自动关注某个分类？

There are many a time when we have categories like “all states of a country” or languages. Where a person who only speaks English won’t be interested much in other languages. And a person will only be interested in questions of his own state and not others.  
Thus a way to ask people to follow a category during registration and then show them topics only in that category would be awesome (Much like what happens in Quora). In this user can follow multiple categories or just a single one and that’s how he’ll be introduced with the website.

There are some plugins that will make members of a group follow a category. You can search here. They require customizing the code for your forum.
