# Is there a way to moderate post attachments?

Hi,
I’m looking for a way to moderate attachments of posts. It’s helpful whenever I need to remove an attachment from a post temporarily (i.e. users claimed that it violates copyright) and bring it back when needed (i.e. the user has defended and proved that there’s nothing wrong with it). I know I can do this by editing the post and removing the attachment from the content. Then bring it back by reverting to an older version. But is there a better way?
I already googled and searched meta and failed to find info about it.

Not currently possible, and I think it would be difficult to do. Your best option might be to turn the topic into a PM, discuss the attachment privately, then move back as a topic if approved.

Ah, didn’t know about that feature. I think that can work. Thanks for the suggestion @erlend_sh!
