# Is there a way to see who changed topic category?

Is there a way to see which user changed the topic of a category? Several users may have permissions to do this, but which one actually did?

Unless an admin does a bulk recategorization, it would appear as an edit to the topic.

Here’s an example:

Thanks. I can see it in the front end, but do you know what the query to see it in the backend would look like?
