# Issue with menu, admin

This might be related to your specific mix of themes/plugins, can you reproduce it in [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-use-discourse-safe-mode/53504)?

yup. i had tried that and it had no issue. i’m using the `Default` theme:

If you had no issue under safe-mode the this isn’t a bug.

What theme components or CSS customisations are present in the default theme?

Safe-mode doesn’t disable all plugin code. If you create a new theme with no tweaks or components and the issue still persists you may need to disable plugins until you can identify the root cause.
