I’m facing a strange issue in my plugin. I’ve set my settings like this:

```plaintext
  discpage_page_categories:
    refresh: true
    client: true
    type: category_list
    default: ""
  discpage_balloon_category:
    refresh: true
    client: true
    type: category
    default: ""

```

Type `category_list` works as expected.  
Type [category](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/master/spec/components/site_settings/type_supervisor_spec.rb#L70) works like a charm in my local dev instance:

but it doesn’t work in my remote docker instance (the combo box is not displayed):

@j.jaffeux is almost done merging in selectkit 2 which re-implements much of this. Recommend you hold off a week and retest with selectkit 2.
