# It's possible to set reply\_by\_email\_address to an illegal value

It’s possible to set the ` reply_by_email_address` to an illegal value, and if you do, you can’t send mail. It was set to `word +%{reply_key}@example.com`

(Note space between `word` and `+`)

It should now be impossible to use an email address with a space in it
