I moved my Discourse installation to another server. A few hours after installation I started monitoring resources and see my CPU is frequently going to 100% on all 4 cores with enormous 1GB or more memory spikes.
Checked my server logs and I see a huge amount of logs for images with the full URL of the images, (note: NOT localhost or 127.0.0.1). These GET requests are from Discourse and say “Ruby” in the User-Agent.
The only jobs I see in sidekiq in the last few hours is Jobs::PullHotlinkedImages, maybe this is related?
Anyway just curious if I did something wrong or if I need to change anything, thx!
