Default Theme… … just took a closer look and figured that these two arrows here “feel” very different in design.

That is because they perform very different actions. One is collapse the other is jump.

Let’s be honest here, it’s because they were introduced at very different times.

I’m not really sure if this needs to be fixed, though.

Er.. no? The visual language of collapse always uses the chevron in Discourse. Has been that way for years. Jump is not collapse.
