# Keyboard not appearing when creating posts - android

Hi there,

Over the past few days, my community has had 2 users report that the keyboard doesn’t appear when they attempt to create a new topic (using Android app).

- Has anyone seen reports of similar?
- Could it be linked to the latest Discourse updates?

User 1 comment (25th March):  
”I want to post a problem with the android app AGAIN. However when I try to create a new topic, I am unable to type in it. No keyboard pops up at all.”

User 2 comment:  
”I also experienced [the same] issue this week - but I didn’t screenshot it so couldn’t report it”
