I’ve just come across the same issue here as well.  
Are there any plans to release an update to the plugin to fix this?

From my understanding in the more recent Discourse release `mobile_view` has been replaced by `mobile_device` as per [the commit](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/9aa52af4c9d261be19c538164eafd83463054998).
