# Language Switcher Problem, Not Translating Posts

Hi everyone, I enabled **Language Switcher** and set all the parameters and settings exactly as explained in the tutorial, unfortunately it only translates the words of the forum but does **not translate the text of the posts, so the text of the posts remains unchanged in the default language** , why this problem?

Yes, like on this site, you put Chinese and it shows you the posts in Chinese, put French and it shows you the posts in French, etc… I tried to activate the Language Switcher but unfortunately the translation for the posts doesn’t work, I want to do it like on this forum!

Automatic translation requires Discourse AI configured and enabled with a LLM available for translation. Did you do all that? Can you share a screenshot of the page at `/admin/plugins/discourse-ai/ai-translations` ?

no,i don’t even know this setup existed, so… after I configure discourse-ai I also need to enable the language switcher, right? In case of any errors with the configuration, I’ll send you a screenshot.
