# Large Discourse logo

I don’t usually browse with CSS disabled, so I’ve only just now noticed.

The Discourse logo is

> 1,306px x 349px (scaled to 150px x 40px)

i.e.

Any reason for using such a large image to begin with?

No aliasing on retina displays would be my guess.

Seems like 300x80 would suffice for that. Or SVG.

Probably could be a bit smaller, but you do want at least triple size for high resolution devices.
