Last post doesn't show correct owner if the owner has been changed

(Joshua Frank) #1

I logged in as me (the face with the red background) and made some introductory posts. Then I changed the owner of the posts to system (the blue and white logo), so it looks like it came from the system itself, so it looks more official and not my personal thing. The posts show the new owner, but the ‘last post’ slug is still my avatar:

I also appear as one of the post users in the main screen:

I think this is a bug, or is there a way to completely remove myself from the topic that I’m just missing?

Is is possible to log in as system?

What method did you go about to change the owner? I wasn’t aware this was even possible.

Use the topic wrench icon to select a post (or more than one):

then select the post with its select button:

(Not a pretty mechanism, by the way. Better would be toggled checkboxes.)

Then click “change ownership”:

Can anyone comment on this? I’ve got some public facing posts with my face on them, and I’d really like to remove me so the post looks more official.

I think it might work if you delete the last two “moderator” posts.

Those moderator posts are owned by system, so I don’t see why it would matter, but in any case I’ve tried deleting them and it still shows me as part of the thread.
