# Leaders editing permission issue

Hi, would it be possible to provide a setting to turn off/on Leaders being able to edit all posts or at least make it so they cannot edit a Moderators or Administrators post.

No such setting exists at this time. I don’t think this is a technical issue, though. Leaders are long time members of your community that should be trusted. If they’re told not to edit staff posts and continue to do so, you may want to rethink if they should be a leader or not.

You can now lock posts to prevent edits:
