Create a QR code for invites

On my sites, it is better to have a QR code for an invite as opportunities often crop up at in-person events. Have you considered rolling QRs into the invite modal on the sidebar? I guess this could be a nice little Theme Component. Personally, I’d be delighted if I could simply insert a QR code image I already have into the modal. So far it has resisted my attempts to do so though!

And there was already interest in implementing that

I loved the idea of adding QR codes to shareable links. Currently this only covers sharing topics and posts, since the create invite modal doesn’t have any plugin outlets or use the Sharing API.

But the pull request to add plugin outlets didn’t get any attention
