# Let's Encrypt Limit (again)

Continuing the discussion from [Hit Let's encrypt renewal limit](https://meta.discourse.org/t/hit-lets-encrypt-renewal-limit/156374/5):

I hit the let’s encrypt limit while trying to install a new instance a few times and running into an error. A solution proposed above says:

This sounds like the way to go… only problem: how do I do this?

Add a CNAME for some other subdomain to point to your site and then follow [Setting up Let’s Encrypt with Multiple Domains](https://meta.discourse.org/t/setting-up-let-s-encrypt-with-multiple-domains/56685)
