# Light/dark mode toggle is illogical/buggy

I think the title of the topic is a little harsh but I am also trying to find a good solution, I currently use the [Dark/Light Mode Toggle Plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/dark-light-mode-toggle/215585), because I can’t get the new feature to work properly as [posted here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/dark-light-mode-toggle-now-available-in-core/350991/10) and glad to [hear](https://meta.discourse.org/t/light-dark-mode-toggle-is-illogical-buggy/357286/3) the official version is still being considered fro further development because it is important for the look of my forum 😊 (obviously selfish request) 🙄
