Hey,

In some categories we have the Like button for posts and comments,  
in other categories and their nested sub-categories, the Like button only shows up for comments.  
I’m looking for the setting that controls this but can’t find anything.

I’m afraid I don’t know what that could be? Do you have a link to your site you could share, or maybe a screenshot? Is it possible that it’s a plugin or theme component that’s affecting when they show up?

Do you use [Discourse Topic Voting](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-topic-voting/40121) in that categories? There is a describtion in the plugin topic how to enable likes on first posts in that case.
