Liking a post collapses open "In reply to" window and changes focussed post

  • Find a long thread with posts with reasonbly long reply chains.
  • Click on the “In reply to” button on a post with a long reply chain. (The list should span the entire screen)
  • Like the post.
  • The “In reply” window closes and suddenly you are looking at a post below the one you were reviewing the parents of.

This sudden jump is unexpected, and I tend to lose my bearing each time it happens. Either don’t close the window when “liking”, or make sure to keep the original post at the bottom so that the thread doesn’t advance your “unread” point.

Another issue is that it often stop YouTube videos from playing.
