# Limit number of latest posts on homepage

Hello 👋
I’m using the _Category & Latest_ view in my Community, and we’ve currently got 5 category and 20 ‘latest’ posts. So the columns look a little bit weird (one much longer than the other).
Is there a way to limit the latest column? [This](https://meta.discourse.org/t/filter-number-of-latest-posts-on-homepage-set-to-categories-latest/75326) thread suggests _topics per period in top summary_ should affect it, but it doesn’t seem to be having any effect…
