# Limit users rights

Hi,

I try to create a forum but it should be more like a blog. I want to create a post and allow users only to comment and don’t allow to create a new post. I tried to find out how to restrict but failed to find.

Please help.

In your category settings then in the Security tab, you can only allow replying but not creating.

I think then you want to remove the “create” permission from users. Then you can add for example the admin group with all 3 permissions.
