# Limiting Users View of Content

Hello,
I need to add a couple of new users to my forum who need to have limited access to the content, as they are guests who are participating in a single group on the forum, and they should not have access to the same content of our regular members.
Is there a way to assign users to only be able to see one category or group, without having to lock down all of the other categories/groups/topics as private?

Unfortunately not, if you want to limit access to all other content you have to lock it down. So you’ll have to remove `everyone` from the relevant categories, and then manage permissions with two separate groups instead… one for regulars and the other for your limited access members.
