Start creating a new topic via link?

Is it possible to send a user to a specific URL (like forum.org/posts/create?topic=foo&category=bar) that will open up an editor to create a new topic with the topic and category filled in? I’m working on integrating github pages and discourse for onlline courses, but I think it also applies to general github pages integration. This would avoid having to create a topic for every page and it will also avoid lots of 1 comment topics for pages that turned out to not be comment worthy. Does this a…
