Link With %23 getting converted

(Steve Baer) #1

If I create a link and paste in a URL with a %23 in it, the appears to get a # in it instead of remaining %23.

Here’s a sample

If you look at the source for this post, you’ll see that the spaces remain %20, but the %23 gets converted.

Pasting in a link by itself:
http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issues/RH?q=Project:%20RH%20%23unresolved

An inline link

A delimited link
http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issues/RH?q=Project:%20RH%20%23unresolved

A HTML link

Any of those formats work?

Here’s what I’m doing. I type a word in editor, then I highlight that word and click on the link icon and paste in a link with %23 in it. The %23 in the link gets converted to #

Yep, the editor inserts this text:

[hello][1]

  [1]: http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issues/RH?q=Project:%20RH%20#unresolved

@techAPJ can you add this to your list to fix; the editor link insertion dialog shouldn’t be messing up link insertion.

YOU HAD ONE JOB, LINK INSERTION DIALOG
