# Links in 'Über' Gruppenbeschreibungen funktionieren nicht auf der /groups Seite

Links in group “About” descriptions do not work from the `/g` groups page.

Steps to replicate:

1. Edit an existing group and add a link to the “About” description:

1. View the `/g` groups page and click on your link:

What happens:

- You are taken to `https://example.com/g/group-name`

What should happen:

- You should be taken to the link you clicked on

* * *

For reference, the link _does_ work if you then click on it again from the `https://example.com/g/group-name` page that you were incorrectly taken to:

It just doesn’t work from the `/g` page where people first encounter the link 😢
