# Links of emails and images don't show the site name, show the ip number

Hi, the emails and notifications sended from my discourse don’t show the site name, the mails sended are showing for example:
this is a email test from
[http://i.p.num.ber](http://i.p.num.ber)
and not
this is a email test from
[mydiscourse.host.com](http://mydiscourse.host.com)
the same situation are with some image and media.

Did you set DISCOURSE\_HOSTNAME correctly?

The first launch of my discourse i don’t set DISCOURSE HOSTNAME, after set it with my hostname and make a “./launcher rebuild app” but the changes don’ts make effect

If you don’t have any significant data on your forum, you can nuke the data and start again:
```
rm -r /var/discourse/shared/standalone
./launcher rebuild app
```
