# Loading plugin for Discourse

When refreshing this Discourse forum, there a a “loading” splash screen. I don’t have this on my Discourse setup, does anyone know what plugin/theme component is used for this?

It’s in core, you’ll have to make sure you’re on latest and enable the hidden site setting `splash_screen`.

As @RGJ said it’s a core feature behind a hidden site setting. It’s a feature we are actively developing at the moment and we plan to ship it enabled by default in the coming weeks.

I think it is not hidden site setting since [this commit](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/801750ffc43b0f966361143c88c7e19e0b95d284). If you update Discourse to the latest you can find and turn on `splash_screen` in settings.
