# Localhost embed for testing

At the moment, I have only enabled the actual domain where I would like to see the Discourse embed.

However, would it be an issue if I also add my localhost (dev environment) to the list of hosts?

What I’d like to do is be able to develop on my machine to see what happens when the discussions get embedded. What I fear is that it will create topics using my localhost since I have configured Discourse to create new topics automatically.

Alternatively, is there a setting that I can use to enable localhost embed elsewhere?
