# Looking for feature mailbox

I know we can message people on discourse but to sent a message I have to go in notifications to check my mailbox. I checked everywhere ( I think) and I didn’t see a button who sent to the mailbox. It should be very simple to see the mailbox but I probably didn’t get a good look.

Do you mean how to get to your personal messages? Like so:

Not really, I saw this feature but I would like to sent message to someone ! To do that, I have to select a notification from the letter button but there don’t have other option ?

You can click on the 📧 icon a second time to load the inbox.

Or click your name, then “Messages”

I expect the feature has been disabled via the “enable personal messages” site setting in the admin panel.
