Setting “max_guest_topic_views” to 1 (the default) is probably causing it to instantly show for everyone. I also think that plugin’s just plain a bad idea, so /shrug

Yeah, I designed that version :stuck_out_tongue: Also designed it to not show until 24 hrs after your first visit, but people thought that wasn’t aggressive enough.

Pretty sure it’s Guest Gate (Sign Up Popup Plugin) - which is marked as #plugin:broken-plugin, so there may be other issues on that site.
