# Lost ability to delete or edit my old posts

I am a member of a club that uses Discourse  
I have lost the ability to delete or edit some of my old posts.  
Also I have lost the ability to edit some of my old topics.  
Yet I am assured that my access rights have not changed.  
What could be the issue?

By default, users can’t edit their own posts if the posts are older than 60 days. Admin can edit this setting ( **post edit time limit** ).
