# Mail-receiver Conflict with Locally Installed Postfix

I’ve installed mail-receiver and it is working fine. But my sysadmins don’t like it because they want to run Postfix locally installed on the VM, not the one in mail-receiver.
Is there a way to configure Discourse to receive email with a locally installed Postfix?

You can configure it to pull from a mailbox or have your admins configure their postfix using the stuff in the mail receiver container. The code is all there.

The simplest way is probably to have postfix deliver to mail-receiver
