# Mailgun 大量用户流失

当然，当用户在 Discourse 中创建账户时，电子邮件在那一刻肯定已被验证有效，因为在 Discourse 中，电子邮件等同于身份。

但电子邮件账户可能会随时间停止工作，或者在用户迁移场景中，用户虽能登录，却已无法控制其旧邮箱地址等。

因此，统计邮件退信（如果已配置）的过程在这些情况下尤为重要：
