当我注册 Mailgun 时（将近一年前，那段时间里肯定发生了一些变化），他们明确表示，在我添加付款方式之前，我不能添加自己的域名，必须使用他们的沙盒域名。
他们不需要收款，我也不需要选择一个最终会收款的套餐，我只需要添加一个有效的付款方式。当时，措辞很清楚，这是为了：
a) 让我确信我是一个真实的人，而不是试图滥用他们的系统进行大规模垃圾邮件发送；以及
b) 如果我超出限额，提供一种收款方式。
据我所知，此后事情的安排变得混乱且有些晦涩，但仍然可以开始试用付费套餐（“Foundation”？），然后将其降级为 Flex / 按需付费，然后添加付款方式以解锁自己的域名，原因与上述相同。

如果自二月以来没有改变，那么你只需开始试用，试用 _就是_ Flex 计划。只是不明显。

值得注意的是，每天 100 封实际上比 Flex 的免费电子邮件数量大约多三倍。它只是不允许在其他使用量较低的情况下出现大量高峰。

对我个人而言，我使用的是 [Zoho Zeptomail](https://www.zoho.com/zeptomail/)。它 **每封邮件仅需 2.50 美元** ，每封邮件可发送 **10,000 封电子邮件** ，有效期为 **六个月** 。ZeptoMail 为您的交易邮件提供专用 IP，但大多数人将使用共享 IP。不过，这对大多数人来说不是问题，特别是对于运行 Discourse 论坛的人来说。我使用 ZeptoMail 没有任何问题，而且它非常经济高效。
我以前曾使用 MailJet 的免费套餐发送交易邮件（MailJet 主要用于营销邮件），但由于超出了免费套餐的限制，我决定改用 ZeptoMail。
