# Make latest topics list show "load more" button after ~30 posts, instead of infinitely loading more topics

**What would you like done?**
I would like a plugin which disables infinite scrolling on the _Latest_ topics homepage, and replaces that function with a “Load More” button to grab the next _x_ number of posts.
The idea is to keep the UX of Discourse almost entirely the same (i.e. I _don’t_ want pagination), but just add a bit of resistance to idly scrolling through the homepage, since “[device addiction](https://particle.scitech.org.au/tech/dark-patterns-the-secret-behind-addictive-tech/#:~:text=Infinite%20scrolling%20is%20a%20common,themselves)” is of particular relevance to my community.
**When do you need it done?**
No hard deadline, probably around August-September.
**What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?**
Please quote me a budget. I’m not sure how extensive this change actually is, and I will have to present an estimate to our community board for approval.
We will need this plugin to be open source, MIT Licensed.
