# Make Staff Notice send a Mailing List email?

We come from a mailing list background and many of our users still use Discourse as a mailing list. Those users never see a Staff Notice. Is there a way to make a Staff Notice send a mailing list email, like normal posts?

No — in this case make a reply in the topic and mark it as a staff reply via the admin wrench.

Just to be clear, I think you’re referring to Staff Color.
