# Making custom user status more prominent

Hmm… I’m looking at how the user status is displayed and I’m not seeing a plugin outlet that you can use to display the status description.

But I think you can get a user’s status via `this.user.status` so I’m not sure if you really need that outlet or if you can find another one close by.
