# Mandrill / SendGrid mail inbound support?

Hi there!
I wish Discourse will support receiving mails from this webhook based services in the future.
I’m not a big fan of providing my own mail services (spam protection & maintenance) or using arbitrary third-party accounts (privacy concerns). I thought this inbound service by Mandrill could be a nice way to fill this gap in my mind. ;oP

SendGrid (my second mail provider) is also able to parse the attachments and contents of incoming emails.
What are you’re thoughts on this?

This has been covered before, search for IMAP. The problem is there is no standard here so we would be hard coding support for vendor specific web hooks.
