# Manually create Onebox in editor?

We generally find onebox to be distracting so we disabled it on our site by setting number ina post to zero. One of our mods agreed but thought they can sometimes be useful. is there a way to not use Onebox by default but select something in editor or use some sorta markdown to manually say to create if someone wants one in their post?

No, but you can do the opposite, e.g.:

I’ll use this at times to decide to _not_ onebox something deliberately, depending on how I want to present my content.
