# Mark an answer as the solution

Hey there!
Is there a reason one can sometimes mark an answer as the solution and sometimes it does not work at all meaning that the symbol does not appear?! Is there a specific setting inside the admin board that allows this only at specific places or could it be that this is a bug?

It’s a category related setting. Meaning the plugin is enabled only for specific categories.
