# Mark topic only visible for logged in user

I have a open forum where everyone can read all topics. I wonder if there is a way to mark a topic to only be readable for logged in users. Eg the first post or 50% of the first post is visible for all. But to read it alll you have to login?
I would like to use this function on certain popular topic - this way to force users to login / register.
Is that a possibility or a way to go?

You should read this topic that mentions some plug-ins you could look at. But forcing anonymous users to login is not generally recommended in this forum, as you will see.
