# Markup no longer happens on Copy + Paste

Since we patched to the newer version we noticed that copy + paste no longer automatically transforms into Markup language.

There is a site setting named `enable rich text paste`, is it enabled for you?

Yes that is enabled. We haven’t made changes to the settings for a while now.

Recently updated to 2.6.0 and rich text paste isn’t working, the setting is enabled. Looks to be fixed here on meta.
