# MathJax rendering in browser but not in print preview

We have a site (behind a firewall unfortunately) in which MathJax works in the browser, but if you press Ctrl-P to print, the MathJax doesn’t render and you just see the raw MathJax markup.
Example content: (although you don’t seem to have MathJax enabled in the [meta.discourse.com](http://meta.discourse.com) forum)

However, Settings → Print option (“…” in upper right) in Chrome and Edge appears to work just fine.

Occasionally this works (10% of the time?)
As a side-effect symptom, the CSS looks totally bad.
